So midterms are finally over. I am so pumped. I got one of the highest midterm grades in my history class and it bumped up my grade tremendously. Right now I am trying my best to work even HARDER to bump my final grade to a "B."
This new quarter is going to be a fresh start for everyone right now. A clean slate is just what I need. Even better, this Friday is my school's Mock United Nations event. How awesome is that! I will try to rehash my Mock UN event and tell you if we get an award.
I'm so pumped for tonight's episode of Battle of the Exes. It's the finale and I am totally rooting for Johnny and Camila.
So, this week is the week of midterms. My APUSH (Advance Placement United States History) class is probably the worst. The instructor gave us a 300 question packet asking on subjects/content we never went over in a lecture. What is worst is the fact that it is worth UP to 30 extra credit points! It should be great but the fact is that we don't know the answer and can't find any sites to help really sucks. My study group just left and the four of us couldn't even get through 40 questions in a couple hours. If it tells anyone anything is that my (academic) life sucks right now.
What an amazing book! I loved the fantastic novel that is all about the other side of working on Wall Street. The main character, Alex, has wanted to work on Wall Street since she was 8. When her dreams come true, it is definitely not what she expected. She must work her way into the boys club, buy a 50 lb wheel of cheese (you'll understand later), and survive the pranks. When you read this amazing novel you get to experience the roller-coaster of life on Wall Street and the unfortunate effects of the economic crisis of 2008 on this "Bond Girl". This novel is a definite must read!
